'Sommerville Smithson' was
owned by Irene. Bred by Michael Ewing, he was from the last
litter that Goldsmith sired and Irene chose him because he
had so many of his fathers attributes. She brought him back
to Carlisle at 8 weeks and he managed to win a Res CC but
his real standing was as a stud dog. He sired Ch Seavall
Seamus, Ch Evad Sommer Shadow (also a top producing sire)
and his litter sister Ch Evad Sweet Sommer who was BIS at
the English Shetland Sheepdog Club Ch show and Ch Mohnesee
Sommer Dream.
